RMHC and the Medical Community

Helping to bridge access to health care

With our unwavering commitment to improve the health and well-being of children around Central Texas, RMHC CTX relies on strong partnerships with the medical community – relationships that have been nurtured and grown since 1985. Our partnerships allow us to address health care needs for children and families through our Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms that support families while their children are being cared for in Central Texas hospitals.

Our medical community helps RMHC CTX in a variety of ways including volunteering their time as board members or community advisory council members, assisting with operating costs and donation of in-kind services, and providing space within the hospitals for our six Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.

It’s this kind of critical support that allows us to expand our program capacity and together, we are helping to change children’s lives around the world.
