Family Meal Program

We are thrilled to announce that, as of June 1st, we will be accepting Meal Program volunteers back into the Ronald McDonald House. Please see below for details on volunteer qualifications. Should you have any additional questions please reach out to Andrew Mack (amack@rmhc-ctx.org). 

  • Only meal groups of up to four people maximum will be permitted in the kitchen in order to maintain proper social distancing
  • Volunteers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (two weeks after second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks after one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) 
  • Only one outside meal group is allowed in the Ronald McDonald House per day
  • Volunteers will be screened for temperature upon arrival for each shift
  • Volunteers will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during meal preparation and will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of their volunteer shift 
  • Meal providers can choose to volunteer for a lunch or dinner shift
  • Lunch shifts will begin at 10AM and lunch should be served by 12PM for 20-25 people
  • Dinner shifts will begin at 4PM and dinner should be served by 6PM for 25-30 people
  • Volunteers will need to prepare meals that can then be individually packaged in single-serve containers
