FVF Law Volunteers with RMHC CTX

Ronald McDonald House Charities has become synonymous worldwide with compassion and caring for families with sick children. Providing more than 7,200 bedrooms to families around the world each night, this charity embodies the spirit of giving back to the community. In 1976, one of those rooms was occupied by the family of one member of FVF Law’s team.  That, combined with Ronald McDonald House Charities’ strong mission, makes them a great organization to which FVF Law can give back.

Team FVF’s first night of dinner service at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas was October 18, 2018. Seven members of the FVF Law team volunteered to prepare dinner for families  staying at the Ronald McDonald House, located in Austin’s Mueller development. The FVF team washed their hands, strapped on their hair (and beard nets), gloved-up, and dove right in, creating a masterful meal of spaghetti and meatballs. While bread was burned and tongs were lost, the FVF team persevered, successfully helping to feed the RMHC CTX families whose attention was much better-focused on being there to support their sick children. No glitz, no glam, just being there for people who need and deserve the support of their community.

FVF Law is grateful for the trust injured Texans have placed in us and we embrace the mission of giving back to the community that has helped our firm thrive. As we’ve grown, so, too, have our efforts to give back, which serves a multitude of functions, such as building team synergy, forging great relationships with members of outstanding organizations, and reminding ourselves that we are lucky to be able to do what we do every day. We look forward to many more years of service with Ronald McDonald House Charities. To learn more about FVF Law and the work we do, check out our website and Facebook page.
